Career.Place is turning heads and getting the recognition it deserves in changing the hiring process
Career.Place, removing bias one hire at a time, was named the winner of three Bronze Stevie® Awards in Woman of the Year, Start-up of the Year, and Entrepreneur of the Year in the 16th Annual American Business Awards® today.
More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.
“Less than two years after we started, it is great to see the recognition that our company is bringing to helping HR Executives throughout the world,” said Melissa Dobbins, CEO of career.place. “Helping companies by removing bias in their hiring process as well as bringing diversity to their workforce has been our goal from the beginning.”
Career.Place removes bias from the hiring process by having applicants move through an anonymous, compliant, consistent, and semi-automated career.place hiring funnel, with employers advancing candidates when they meet the needs of the company or are removed from consideration when they do not qualify.
“I could not have accomplished all of this without my co-founder, Gabe Gurman, and the incredible team that we have surrounded ourselves with,” continued Dobbins. “We are looking forward to the next year and making a huge impact in removing bias from the hiring process.”
